Tactile Braille Signs, Labels, and Overlays
Roemer Manufactures Braille ID Products to Meet Government Regulations
When customers have a need for tactile Braille identification, they can count on us for our technical expertise. At Roemer Industries, we have capabilities and processes in place to meet the demands of the industries, such as transportation, that require these types of products. Roemer utilizes an innovative technique that allows the manufacture of Braille polycarbonate parts to be efficient and cost-effective. Typical items that we’ve seen requiring Braille include rail car numbers, emergency call boxes, safety/warning information, and accessibility signage.
There are numerous guidelines regarding Braille sizing, spacing, and placement from ANSI A117.1, the ADA, and individual states (i.e. California Braille). Roemer is able to satisfy both their customers’ needs and the government’s regulations. Currently, Roemer Industries offers Braille products in polycarbonate, including panels, overlays, signs, and labels/decals.
