Roemer Helps Improve Communication for an International Manufacturer of Power-Take Offs
A leading manufacturer, which produces power-take offs, clutches, and brakes, provides a variety of product models to global distributors. With the broad range of applications and language barriers, the need to better communicate product information to their end-users arose.
The customer looked to Roemer Industries for an innovative, economical solution that would integrate QR Codes onto their products. Specializing in manufacturing, Roemer can print QR Codes on virtually any form of product identification.
Being a new concept for the manufacturer, Roemer provided several prototypes to test for their requirements. Due to the application and environment, the project required a strong and durable material with an aggressive adhesive. Testing the prototypes allowed for the optimal material and adhesive to be selected for their specific needs.
The sub-surface printed label features a QR Code that links to a web based catalog of product manuals, which can be updated and revised without incurring any distribution costs.
Through working with Roemer Industries, the company can now provide instant customer support, address user challenges, and provide product information when their end-users, distributors, and technicians utilize a smart phone to scan the QR Code label.
