Phenolic signs are a tough, stain resistant multi-layered acrylic that has been specially treated for both indoor and outdoor applications. It is a hard, brittle material that is abrasion, heat, and chemical resistant. They offers excellent electrical insulation and is available in a multitude of color combinations. Because phenolic is extremely brittle, special precautions must be taken during the engraving process
