MetalPhoto® is the trade name for Photosensitive Aluminum. Most durable type of aluminum nameplate product offering the highest resolution capability of any substrate. Good chemical & corrosion resistance; excellent abrasion, heat and UV resistance. Available in a wide range of thickness from foils to .125″ thick sheet. Consists of fully anodized, 1100 series aluminum alloy with photographically produced silver halide metal graphics embedded (or sealed) beneath its clear, sapphire-hard anodic layer.
