A school district in Southern California reached out to Roemer Industries requesting an aluminum label to be attached to trees for tracking purposes. The district had a goal in mind of tagging trees so that they could be identified and safely removed from each school’s property.
The district sought out Roemer’s knowledge of a durable tag well suited for outdoor environments. Our Metalphoto® aluminum provides the best protection against heat and other harsh environments, and proved to be the right candidate for the job. The tags were designed with a hole at the bottom to allow movement as the trees grew, and a barcode and QR code were assigned to each tag for tracking and identification purposes.
Working closely with our customer service and sales teams’, the customer was happy with the solution we provided for their project and requested the same aluminum tags for additional jobs on their timeline. Roemer Industries is capable of manufacturing durable barcode and QR code identification tags on metal and plastic substrates.
