We Make It Right, We Make It On Time

Globally Harmonized System for Labeling

With the new standard for labeling chemicals, according to the Hazard Communication Standard, OSHA, and Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS), companies must evaluate their current system, train employees, and adhere to the new labeling policy.

Roemer Industries, a custom manufacturer of industrial labels, can produce these signs in a variety of industrial strength materials, such as polyesters, vinyls and metal foils. We can provide anything from chemical manufacturer drum labels to importer and employer safety labels. Roemer can also provide adhesive options for multiple surface applications.

Label image durability is critical when complying with any labeling standard or regulation including GHS, HazCom, BS 5609, and International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code (IMDG). According to the OSHA HazCom standard, both the hazard and precautionary text and color pictograms must remain identifiable and legible regardless of the environment.

Below are the new label standards and definitions. For more information on the GHS Policy, please visit: http://www.osha.gov/dsg/hazcom/ghs.html
