Fabricating Sustainable Nameplate for Leading Package Delivery Company
One of the nation’s largest manufacturers of commercial transportation products had a need for a nameplate that would last the lifetime of their product and be able to endure a broad range of environments, temperatures, and conditions. The customer turned to Roemer Industries for an innovative solution that would provide readability and longevity in any atmosphere encountered by their products, including salt spray, UV rays, and corrosive environments. Our solution: completely etched-through stainless steel nameplates that will maintain complete product integrity.
Being a new concept for the manufacturer, Roemer provided a prototype of the nameplate to ensure that the customer’s requirements were met. The stainless steel material is strong, durable, and scratch resistant. With the etch-through process, the customer doesn’t have to worry about inks or paints fading away or the nameplate becoming illegible because of surface abrasion. The material and process combination will allow for an extended-life nameplate.
